Guess What?! I’m back!!

Well, it’s been a really long time. I stopped blogging here coz it’s really hard to post entries. turns out, it’s the same with the other one!

But now, I’m back. I’ll continue blogging there but I’ll still blog here.

Here’s the link for that new site I’m talking about Since I already started there, I’ll continue here. And besides from being an anime blog, I’ll be posting “quotes.” I hope that’s fine. I’ve been collecting some really good quotes and I just want to post it!

Gundam 00 Follow up

Hmm… It’s very interesting now. I still don’t know what the hell Saji and the blonde girl are for but it seems that they will be a important for season 2.And the Princess, the one with the Celestial Being, who is she? Princess of what? How about Sumeragi? I she the leader of Celestial being? this is unlikely but, who the hell is the leader of CB? 

Anyway, I watched 13 episodes and I think it deserves a new scoring.

Story: 9/10. Definitely interesting and what can I say? I’m sucker for cute guys with troubled past.

Characters: 8.5/10. Some of the Gundam Meisters’ past are being revealed. I’m really intersted in Tiera’s past. He always wants to be perfect so… What kind of past is he hiding?

Art: Same. The art is consistent so everything is fine.

 I’ll be posting an official review(?!) for gundam 00… Review… he he. I’m sounding like a pro now.

Antique Bakery Korean Live Action

God!!! Thank you so much! I’m so happy i could die! Honestly! I watched the trailer of the Korean adaptation of Antique Bakery, and with no exaggeration, I really almost fainted! The actors are so hot and it’s so nakakakilig!! I’m going to post some info and pic about the movie and characters tomorrow so wait. Right now I’m going to savour the movie and sleep happily! Adios! 

Gundam 00

I know I’m probably late with this but I still want to write something about it. I always wanted to watch Gundam 00 but it took me a year to finally do it. The story is about a private army called Celestial Beings who interfere with wars and attack any country who are pro-war. They want to eradicate war and will use force to do it.

 The story right now is just about that. Of course there’s the mystery of the robot who looks like those of Lacus Clyne in Gundam Seed/Destiny made by Athrun Zala. Then there’s the light the Gundams prodece/let out that has really incredible features and what happened to Setsuna before? Who saved him? Even though I’d only watched 4 episodes I’ll give this anime for its story: 8/10

The characters have yet to develop. There are many questions about their backgrounds which is acceptable considering the episodes I’d seen. But what puzzles me is the connection of those two brats, the blond and the guy who looks like a girl, with the whole plot. I hope I’ll find out soon. For the character development: 5/10. For the characters themselves: 7/10

Lastly, the art. Well,it’s good. Not that great but not bad either. The hairstyles are kinda unique and well, the faces are kinda average. But hey! How many Gundam Series have I watched? Many! So of course, it’s average. Anyway, I give it 8/10 for the art. Since I’m a great fan of good looking guys no matter how familiar they look.

 And over all: 8/10. I hope by the end of this first season, it will be 9/10. 

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Chapter 217

God!!! It’s so confusing now! First of all, they haven’t explain the damn glass or whatever. Then there’s to many Sakuras and Syaorans! But it’s really getting exciting. I think that CCS Sakura and R!Syaoran’s mom is the same. Maybe CCS is the younger version and she went to her future self to give her something, which is the staff. R!Syaoran’s mom said that ”The one from the other world who is the same as me.” Maybe time is the difference? I mean Clow Kingdom and Tokyo are the same place but different time, so it’s possible here too. And before continuing with anything else, I hope someone will agree with me, and even if you don’t then fine. But my standards are pretty high when it comes to beauty so, here it goes: THE ART SUCKS IN THIS CHAPTER!!! What the hell, did you see the face of Fai in this page? Arg! What’s the matter CLAMP? I mean, I love all your works. Even those really old ones. But this? Uh-uh. Are you rushing or something? Please don’t. I don’t want this kind of art! Even my sister doesn’t like it. Mind you, I’m more picky than her!

Theory, my own, about the series. Well, I think that Watanuki is coming in the story, for good, I personally hope that Yuko will live and so as the others. I know CLAMP like tragedies and stuff but please, make it a happy ending. A real one?

What happened in this chapter is:

The Adult version Sakura and Syaoran appeared, so did Watanuki, the explanation is in the xxxHolic, well not really an explanation. Anyway, back to the topic, So when Watanuki was shown he’s confused. Then Adult Sakura said that it will be alright….

Ah. Wait. My sister is here and she’s bugging me. Adios for now. 

Important! Follow-up!

Ok, so I’m trying to update things now. But I don’t want to publish it when it’s not yet finished so, I’m not publishing any of them. Until I’m sure they are okay for myself. We have a new computer, courtesy of my father. It’s a iMac 2009. And I really can’t do things that fast here. I’m adjusting to its settings since I’m used to using Windows XP.  So that’s it. Bye Bye.

I’ve been getting addicted to Boys Love Extreme lately. Well, you can’t really call it lately. It’s been a while. At first I hated it. I mean, it’s too weird and everything. And come on! I’m a girl and I definitely not want to get involve in things like that! But then, suddenly, I don’t know, I just fell in love wih it. Weird huh? Since then I’ve been reading almost anything with it. And I can guaratee you, it’s great. The stories are different and has more depth than others and most characters are so hot! But I had to keep it a secret. Always. Or else, I’m dead. I’m a Catholic and worse from a country that’s been colonized by CONSERVATIVE people for 300 years. You do get it right?

I found some girls in my school who also love it. Lucky them though. They are open to their ‘rents and everyhting. There’s this girl Ella, who even watch with her mom. How cool would that be?

Anyway, I read really great ones. Here are some great mangakas and their really amazing works:

Important!!

I know I’m not updating this blog for a long time now. And I’m working on that. We’ve been here in NZ for 10 months and would you believe it? I still don’t have my own laptop! So how can I do this blog thing?! Anyway, I’m trying to simultaneously do the 50 knights and the review of some anime and mangas. I’m also updating them about the art and everything. I hope I can still remember it though. Ok, see yah next time!I have to go now… oh one last thing. The only thing that’s from MAL is the info about the anime/manga. 50 Knights

    I’m going to post infos, pics, and some comments about my fifty favorite manga and anime male characters. Some of them you might not know, but I’m sure you’ll love them too. Anyway, they are arranged in alphabetical order coz it will break my heart if I have to choose between them. I’m also going to right my personal opinion about how their  life ended and who I want them to be with. The criteria for my favorites are looks and attitude. Just that. So don’t be surprised if you don’t see Zero of Vampire Knight coz I really want to kill him even if he’s really handsome. Well that’s it. I’m starting to update this site but I think it’ll take a long time. Thanks!

Why I like Anime

         Japanese animation, Japanese cartoons or simply Anime, refers to the distinctive tradition of animation in Japan. Due to its superior artistic qualities, complex-thought provoking themes, not just the usual Good VS Evil plot shown in US Cartoons, it is favored for all ages in different countries of the world. Here in New Zealand, Final Fantasy VII’s Advent Children, Death Note, and Naruto, help me proved the preceding statement.

        An Otaku, derived from the Japanese term for another house or family, is use to describe people who love anime. It is not only for Japanese people so if you love anime and came to know it better, you can call yourself an Otaku. That’s what I am. Here are the reasons why I like anime:

        One, anime gives me opinionated views of what the future will be like. A perfect example is Mobile Suit Gundam Seed. This Japanese animation features space wars, robots called Gundams, flying fortresses and advance genetics.

        We don’t have it as of now. But I’m pretty sure we will. Imagine me, flying a Gundam in space. Seeing billions of stars and landing on a moon base, much better than being an astronaut, right?

        Two, anime brings me to a new world. Not just the world of ninjas, vampires, witches, or robots, but the world of sports and mystery that I can’t normally be in. Eyeshield 21, introduced me to American football and lets me enjoy it without getting tackled or wearing big uniforms. Detective Conan on the other hand, got me hooked to mystery solving and detective playing without having to be there and endangering myself. 

        I had face it. A student like me, who always think of ditching P.E. class for some lame reasons, playing football. Meaning actually running around and defending against big players… I can never imagine myself like that. Or at least not in this life time. And I’m too big to hide myself during investigations. What happens if I’m seen? I’ll die without even accomplishing anything! 

        Three, It shows new cultures aside from Japan and America. Sometimes they even create their own. From Kino’s Journey, The Land of Adults exist. Tradition dictates that kids are to be brought to the hospital after they reached 12 to have a single operation that will set their mind to working happily and perfectly to an already determined job and life…

        Four, it gives connection to other people. Since anime is known worldwide, making friends is easy. From Naruto’s clumsiness to Goku’s transformation to be a Saiyan, you can already start and end a conversation. I have countless friends around the globe. Often, Anime is our strongest connection.                                                                                                                                                                                   

        I have many more reasons why i like anime. I could even write another essay about them. But time is running out and I have to go. Before that, however, let me tell you the biggest reason why I like anime.

        The perfect hair, the perfect face, the perfect body, the perfect attitude of the  ideal, almost perfect in everyway, handsome guys, are essential to me. Look around you. Only few people fit in this category. Why would I prefer average guys to ideal ones?

         Code Geass‘ Lelouch Lamperouge and Suzaku Kururugi, Death Note’s L Lawliet and Light Yagami, Final Fantasy’s Cloud Strife and Sephiroth, are some of the many guys in the world of anime, that can’t be compared to any average guy.

    And how can I forget Naruto’s Uchiha Sasuke? Those cold, bloody eyes, staring at me, I won’t be scared. I’d rather fall for him.

    …In the end, I guess I like anime because I’d rather see fantasy as reality.
